Barcelona, Spain

West Europe Pacific Conference

Monday 14 July - Monday 21 July 2025

Renowned for its rich history, stunning architecture, and thriving cultural scene, Barcelona offers a unique blend of professional opportunities and networking activities. We look forward to returning to the Spanish capital in July 2025 for the West Europe Pacific Conference for medical, legal and dental professionals.

Barcelona provides an excellent platform to exchange knowledge, discuss new research, and network with peers. The city is home to several renowned medical institutions and research centers, making it an interesting destination for medical professionals. Additionally, Barcelona offers access to world-class hospitals and clinics, allowing participants to gain valuable insights into Spain's healthcare system and engage in collaborative discussions with local experts. Likewise, Barcelona offers a compelling setting for lawyers. With its deep-rooted legal tradition and a thriving legal community, the city provides a fertile ground for legal professionals to enhance their expertise and broaden their horizons. The city's multicultural atmosphere and diverse legal landscape allow delegates to engage in cross-cultural dialogue, foster international connections, and gain a deeper understanding of European medical and legal practices.

Barcelona is an equally exciting place to visit outside of conference hours. With its vibrant culture, excellent gastronomic scene, and colourful architecture, there is plenty to explore for first-time and returning visitors alike.

One of the most striking features of Barcelona is its architecture, heavily influenced by the renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí. Gaudí's masterpieces, such as the Sagrada Família and Park Güell showcase a distinct style characterized by intricate details, colorful mosaics, and organic shapes.

One also cannot overlook the city's captivating coastline. Barcelona boasts several stunning beaches, such as Barceloneta, Nova Icaria, and Bogatell, where locals and tourists alike enjoy the sun, sea, and a lively beach culture. The beachfront promenade, known as the Ramblas, is a vibrant hub of activity with street performers, cafés, and vendors.

Beyond its architectural wonders and stunning beaches, Barcelona offers a rich cultural scene. The city is home to numerous museums and galleries, including the Picasso Museum, MACBA (Museum of Contemporary Art), and the National Museum of Catalan Art (MNAC). Barcelona's vibrant arts and music festivals, such as the Grec Festival and Primavera Sound, attract artists and performers from around the world.

Food enthusiasts will delight in Barcelona's gastronomic offerings. The city is famous for its tapas, fresh seafood, and Catalan cuisine. Exploring the local markets, such as La Boqueria, is a treat for the senses, where you can find an array of colorful fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and other delicacies.

 Medical Accreditation & Agenda

This conferences will take place over the duration of a full week with 4 academic days, each with a minimum of 4 hours of academic content each day (making a minimum total of 16 hours for the entire conference). The academic agenda is released on the first day of the conference, in order to provide the diversity and local input that are an important aspect of our conferences. Often local presenters are unable to commit to a specific session time months in advance. We believe (and indeed our feedback reflects) that the local presenters and field trips add immeasurable value to the academic experience and as such we want to preserve our ability to include them. After each conference you will be provided with a Certificate of Attendance and the academic agenda for your records.
