Niseko, Japan

Asia Pacific Conference

Saturday 14 February - Saturday 21 February 2026

Niseko, located in Hokkaido, Japan, is well known as a skier’s paradise, celebrated for its exceptional powder snow that blankets the region. Beyond being a world-class ski destination, Japan is the second largest economy in the Asia region and the fourth largest economy in the world. Japan presents a fascinating amalgamation of legal traditions. Its Civil Code, with roots in German law, reflects a broader European influence, yet it has also adopted aspects from the U.S., especially in administrative and corporate law. This allows for a rich discussion on the global and comparative dimensions of law and medicine. As the birthplace of statins and a powerhouse in the pharma and medtech markets, Japan embodies innovation and cross-cultural synergy in the medical field. This confluence of legal and medical scholarship in a nation that balances tradition with progress provides a perfect real-world case study for conference attendees.

Niseko itself is a thriving town which is uniquely cosmopolitan whilst retaining a strong sense of Japanese culture. The area itself is known collectively as "Niseko United," comprising of four interconnected ski resorts—Annupuri, Niseko Village, Grand Hirafu, and Hanazono—each offering a wide array of trails and backcountry opportunities to explore. Beyond the slopes, Niseko captivates with its serene winter woods and vibrant dining scene.

The Asia Pacific Conference held in Niseko presents an exceptional venue for a medical and legal conference, offering a blend of intellectual stimulation and unparalleled natural beauty. Attendees have the unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and insights against the backdrop of Niseko United, a world-class ski destination known for its light powder snow and stunning terrain.

The conference will be held at the Hilton, Niseko Village. There will be academic sessions on a minimum of 4 days, of at least 4 hours duration, as well as various professional networking events.

The Egypt Oceania River Conference takes you to the heart of this ancient land, on a journey along the legendary Nile river that has been the centre of life in Egypt since its history began over six millennia ago. This is where some of the earliest developments in writing, agriculture, urbanisation and centralised government can be traced back to, and an undoubtedly spectacular and informative backdrop to our medical, legal and dental conferences.

Medical Accreditation & Agenda

This conferences will take place over the duration of a full week with 4 academic days, each with a minimum of 4 hours of academic content each day (making a minimum total of 16 hours for the entire conference). The academic agenda is released on the first day of the conference, in order to provide the diversity and local input that are an important aspect of our conferences. Often local presenters are unable to commit to a specific session time months in advance. We believe (and indeed our feedback reflects) that the local presenters and field trips add immeasurable value to the academic experience and as such we want to preserve our ability to include them. After each conference you will be provided with a Certificate of Attendance and the academic agenda for your records.

  • Based on our reading of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons Continuing Professional Development Guide (2017), most sessions attract points under Category Three: Maintenance and knowledge of skills at 1 point per hour for delegates and a total of 10 points per presentation for a speaker (max 20 per annum).

  • Based on our reading of the CPD-Curriculum Framework outlined by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists sessions could attract points under the Domain 1 - Educational Activities.
