Welcome drinks will take place on the World Yacht, offering spectacular views of the New York skyline. Meet and greet your speakers, delegates and conference team over wine or beer. Your delegate pack with final conference information will be provided at this complimentary event.
Start Time: 17.30 hrs (for a 17.45 hrs start)
End Time: 18.15 hrs

Getting there: We recommend taking a taxi to Pier 81 from the Le Parker Meridien, which will take approx. 12 mins.

Please note the welcome drinks will finish at 18.15 hrs sharp! Any late comers will not be able to embark the ship after this time to pick up their delegate packs due to strict times to depart for sailing. If you do miss out on picking up your packs, you can pick them up at the first academic session to be scheduled on Wednesday 13 December 2017. You will be emailed exact locations and times.

Please note the yacht will be departing the Pier at 18.15 hrs sharp. Any late comers will not be able to embark the ship after this time, so please ensure you are on time to avoid missing out!
Wednesday 13 December 2017 | Walking Tour of the High Line
The High Line, previously a historic freight rail line, has been transformed into a public park, elevated above the streets of Manhattan’s West Side. Completed in 2014, the park offers an alluring break from the chaotic city streets of New York City.
Join us on this private guided tour as we explore the park's features - wander through the lush horticulture, take in the unique architecture and artwork and experience seasonal food vendors. This tour will also give our delegates a different perspective of the city, offering unique views of the Hudson River and New York City skyline.
Start Time: 10.30 hrs (for a 10.45 hrs start)
End Time: 12.00 hrs
Meet: Lorenzo and Trudy at entrance of the High Line, 34th Street, New York, NY 10019 (between 11th and 12th Avenues)
Getting there: We recommend taking a taxi to the High Line start point from the Le Parker Meridien, which will take approx. 15 mins.
Cost: $55 per person
Dress code: Due to the elevation of the High Line, weather conditions will be more extreme. We suggest layering and wearing comfortable boots with grip.
Thursday 14 December 2017 | MoMA Before Hours Guided Tour
Join this exclusive private guided tour scheduled to start before the museum is open to the public! This is a fantastic opportunity to peruse the exhibition with an expert guide before the museum is open to the general public.
Time: 9.00 hrs if meeting Lorenzo and Trudy at the Le Parker Meridien OR be at the back entrance of MoMA at 9.20 hrs
Meet: Back entrance of MoMA, 11 West 53rd St, New York, NY 10019
Getting there: The museum is a walkable distance from the Le Parker Meridien - approximately 10 minutes
Cost: $125 per person
Inclusions: 1.5 hr private, guided tour and admission

Saturday 16 December 2017 | NBA Basketball Game: New York Knicks vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The New York Knicks are a celebrated staple of the NYC sports scene and what better way to truly experience New York than taking in a home game of the Knicks at the famous Madison Square Gardens? With a birds eye view of the court. this is an event not to miss out on. If you wish to make the experience as authentic as possible, pick up some traditional American hotdogs and soda to take with you to your seats.
Time: 19.00 - late
Venue: Madison Square Gardens, 4 Pennsylvania Plaza, New York, NY 10001, United States
Getting there: Madison Square Gardens is approximately 15 minutes drive from the conference hotel, Le Parker Meridien. Delegates can make their own way there by catching the Orange F line subway from 57th Street to 34 St (Herald Square) and walking 5 minutes to the stadium.

Inclusions: Game day ticket (distributed by Lorenzo before the start of play)
