Kruger, South Africa
Indian Pacific Conference
The quintessential African safari awaits.
2 - 9 May 2018
It is hard to think of South Africa without thinking “safari”. Our conference is set in the magnificent Kapama Lodge, a luxuriously appointed private lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park.
With over 130 animals and 500 varieties of birds, Kruger is home to one of the world's greatest experiences in wildlife observation.
This region’s high density of wildlife allows you an even greater to spot South Africa’s magnificent “Big 5” – Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and Buffalo.
Kruger National Park is over 19,000 square kilometers and is protected by the South African government.
Kapama Lodge offers everything your quintessential African safari should – beautiful design with fabulous food and wine, all whilst being serenaded by the sounds of the African savannah.
Following our safari experience, the conference moves to Johannesburg. Here we will see first hand how this major city turned a turbulent past into a thriving, racially inclusive, judicial capital.
Our conference group will have private tours of the new Apartheid Museum and the diverse Soweto township, which today is home to over 3.5million residents.
Twice daily safari tours, accompanied by an expert ranger and tracker are included. Conference lectures will be held in the middle of the day when the sun is hot and the wildlife takes refuge.
Our conference is set in the magnificent Kapama Lodge, a luxurious private lodge in the Greater Kruger National Park. Kapama Lodge’s wide, open spaces and airy design are a constant reminder that you’re sleeping under the African sky.
A brochure with the full itinerary and rates is available through your CPE Travel professional - book early to avoid disappointment.
Our conference structures numerous social events to allow for networking in relaxed settings. We encourage all delegates to attend the social events as the information exchange is deemed invaluable by many participants as well as it being an opportunity for you to discover more of this exciting conference location.
Both conference attendees and accompanying persons can take part in all activities. Separate fees may apply.
Academic Program and Accreditation
All sessions are conducted by practitioners and leading academics, however our program structure is unique to CPE Conferences. Over the last 20 years we have adopted a model that allows us to accommodate local and VIP speakers whom, due to professional demands were unable to confirm their availability, would otherwise be unable to share their international perspective.
In addition to these sessions, our Kruger Conference held multiple academic field activities, including a private guided tour of Constitution Hill, the Constitution Court of South Africa, which allowed our delegates to obtain additional professional knowledge through engagement and unique location based excursions.
