Academic Sessions
Please note that although we have a provision for the academic sessions below, the Academic Agenda will remain fluid until the final agenda is provided to you at the Welcome Drinks. Academic sessions will be held on board in the conference room.

The Attendee App
We have introduced a conference Attendee App, which is where the most up to date information for the Social Agenda and Academic Program will be noted. The Attendee App will be released in the week leading up to the conference. All details below are subject to change. 

Day 1: Saturday 6 October | Welcome Drinks & Dinner

GOJA Terrace CPE Conferences Welcome Drinks Barcelona to Lisbon Conference

5:45pm to 6:30pm - Welcome Drinks

Enjoy spectacular views across Barcelona whilst meeting your fellow delegates over a drink to welcome the conference week ahead. We welcome all delegates and their accompanying persons to attend this event. 

Cost: This is a complimentary event
Venue: GOJA Terrace, Rooftop of the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel
Dress Code: Smart Casual 

Welcome Dinner tapas tour with CPE Conferences

7:00pm to 10:00pm - Welcome Dinner - Essentials Tapas Tour
6:30pm - Meet in the foyer of the Renaissance Barcelona Hotel

Our expert guide will take us to various locations in the Born and Gothic Quarter or Barcelona to sample food and drinks typical of the Catalonian region. A tapas and wine tour is a great way to learn about Barcelona's cultural legacy, its gastronomy and the historical landmarks you will pass throughout the tour.  

Cost: $170 AUD per person
Venue: Various locations throughout the Born and Gothic Quarter
Inclusions: Expert guide, 8 tapas and 5 drinks
Dress Code: Smart Casual
Important Note: For those delegates that are attending the Barcelona Conference, this is a completely different tour throughout another region of Barcelona, the Born and Gothic Quarter, visiting different locations and tasting different tapas and drinks. 


Day 2: Sunday 7 October| Embarkation, Welcome Drinks & Dinner onboard

3:00pm to 3:30pm - Transfer from Renaissance Hotel Barcelona to Port

Cost: The transfer is free of charge
Venue: Meet in the foyer of the Renaisssance Hotel, Barcelona at 2:45pm for a sharp 3:00pm departure to the cruise ship. 
Important Note: We are providing 2 x 54 seater buses to accommodate all of our delegates, accompanying persons and their luggage. Both buses will have a 'CPE Conferences' sign in the window. Please board either bus.

Welcome Drinks and Dinner on board the Crystal Serenity

Once all of our delegates and accompanying persons have arrived in Barcelona and our group has boarded the ship, we have organised a Welcome Drinks and Dinner onboard. We would love for you all to join us.

Welcome Dinner
Time: 7:30pm
Location: Tastes Bar & Restaurant

These events are inclusive in your cruise package.

Day 2 - 8 | Sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon

Your final day-to-day schedule will be provided onboard on the first day of your cruise.

Day 6: Thursday 11 October | Academic Field Activity in Gibraltar, UK

We are looking to organise an Academic Field Activity as we will arrive in Gibraltar in the morning and dock for the day. Further information will be provided to delegates once this activity has been finalised. As this is an Academic Field Activity, there will be no cost for delegates. Accompanying persons are welcome to attend for a cost which will be advised.

Day 9: Sunday 14 October | Disembark the Crystal Serenity in Lisbon, Portugal

To book any of the above activities, please complete the Activity Registration Form that was emailed to you previously with the Social Agenda Release email. Please complete one form per delegate. If your accompanying person is also attending the conference as a delegate please ask them to complete the form that was emailed to their email address.

Please note that activities are non-refundable as we must adhere to the suppliers terms and conditions.
